The Tree
When I look at the small, lonely tree in the Fall, from far away I notice that the maple leaves are becoming ombre from orange to red. While I walk underneath the tree, I observe an amazing transition, the leaves turn from apple green to a spectacular shade of golden orange especially when the sun shines on them. There are still green leaves, I just couldn't see the greenness from a distance because most of the leaves have already turn orange.
The tree that I notice on the first day of school in the Summer, most of the leaves are green. As soon as Fall comes, the leaves will start to turn golden red, dry, and curl slightly. When Winter comes, the leaves will turn from red in color to nothing but sticks and branches since all the leaves will fall off. As the year continues and Spring is just around the corner, the tree will renew its full blossom of green leaves.

In this set piece, I was exploring with description. You will notice in this piece that I will describe the different shades of color of the leaves frequently as well as the stages the leaves go through for this cycle. I like this piece because it's about nature and observing more than just leaves growing, changing color, falling, and repeating the same thing every year.
