A frog can jump out of a well and see the beautiful world. A stream can keep flowing into the sea without stopping. An eagle can practice flying until it touches the sky. Though difficult, all of these actions succeed eventually because of dreams. Everything in the word has a dream, and so do I.

When I was young, I admire my teachers’ wisdom. Teachers always help me whenever I have difficulty. They devote their free time to providing us with more knowledge. They lead a very busy life without rest. Furthermore, not only do they have to be knowledgeable, but they also have to have a sense of morality. It’s their duty to help students establish correct concepts and guide them with appropriate suggestions that will be useful for their developments. From my point of view, a teacher is a carrier of knowledge, a great moral leader, and a person who always sacrifices all of his time for his students’ study and work. I dreamed of becoming a teacher in the future for the reason that I would be able to share my knowledge to more students, so that they can be as good as they can be. I wanted to see students who love to study receive good education, with their faces covered with happiness in poor areas. I wanted to be a teacher like this.

However, as time passes by, so too do my dreams change with the years. My main focus now is to simply make other people happy. Being happy seems to be an easy thing to accomplish, but fewer and fewer people feel happy now. Instead, more and more people live stressful lives. Some of them keep working to make money, some are still busy finding a satisfactory job to make a living, and others even lead vacuous lives without meanings. It’s hard for them to be happy. What they feel now is stress and tiredness. Furthermore, having been so stressed for a long time, they eventually lose their confidence to improve their lives, leading to serious mental problems. As proven by researchers, the number of young people who suffer from psychological illnesses is getting bigger and bigger. Many teenagers even feel that their lives have become meaningless and commit suicide. I was really sad when I discovered this.

As a result, my current dream is to try my best to learn more to give a hand to make others happy. To make my dream come true, lots of efforts need to be made. First of all, I need to make myself happy so that I can have a positive impact on others. I should be optimistic about all the things happening in my daily life. No matter what difficulties I meet, it is important for me to have bravery and perseverance to solve all the problems. What’s more, I need to award myself when I achieve a small goal, because to make me happy, what I need to do most is to satisfy myself.

Then, to make others happy, I can cheer them up when they feel sad and upset. It is necessary to bring happiness to them every day instead of only focusing on negativity and the unpleasant things in life. In the future, when I am able to approach people with mental issues, I would like to help them get out of the darkness in their mind. Instead of only donating money to help, I plan to bring more awareness to mental illnesses and try my best to recover people’s hopes to live in this world.

Although my dream is changing, what I really aim to do will not change. I want to make a difference to the world. Maybe I will achieve my dream in different ways. But ultimately, I will never give up.
