Helen Keller states, “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence” (Helen Keller).  After my first final grading period , I had to take my Math 1 final exam at East Richland High School. I needed to complete my course so the final was the big test to complete and improve my grade. Much like Helen Keller overcame the obstacles of not being able to communicate, I too overcome my obstacles of passing my final.
Helen Keller had to overcome the obstacle of not being able to communicate with other people. When Helen was a baby, she got sick and became death and blind that year. The Keller’s found and hired Annie Sullivan to teach. Annie was able to teach Helen trust and l have to overcome the inability to use language.
Ike Helen I had to overcome My Final Test . I had to pass my final which was important because I wanted to pass my class. I chose to study three nights before the test. Over time, I became more confident in myself.
Although our obstacles were different. Like Helen, I did not like asking for help. Helen and  I have both work hard overcome difficulties in life. Life can be hard but good things can happen.

Helen Keller had to overcome the difficulty in learning on how to communicate , and I have had to overcome the hardships. Of my final test, I learned from Helen that one should never give up. From my life, I have learned to find my own voice and to be confident. “Helen Keller maintains, “ do not give up by saying,” “Keep your face to the sun and you will never see a shadow” (Keller).
