It is thought that 10 million Asian women sell sex to 75 million men, who in turn have another 50 million partners. Human trafficking is hazardous and dangerous to all involved. Human trafficking is something that is ruining our society, and we must keep trying to stop it and save the victims involved.

The first step in stopping human trafficking is knowledge, and knowing what it is. Human trafficking is the use of deception and coercion to persuade victims to cross national borders in search of new jobs and better opportunities. Once the victim is in the foreign country, he/she is then forced into some form of labor bondage. Sex workers are sometimes seen as the problem and not a solution. So they do not go to get help.

Therefore, many countries are creating laws so that they can do something about human trafficking. In 1907, a prostitution in the immigration Act of 1907 was passed. It states that "importation into the US of an alien woman or girl for any other immoral purpose is hereby forbidden." On June 25, 1910, US congress passed the white-slave traffic act. This act makes it a crime to transport women across state lines "for the purpose of prostitution or debauchery, or for any immoral purpose."
Next, there are several different sets of statistics. In 21 months of operation, the human trafficking report system recorded more than 1,200 alleged incidents. 700,000 people worldwide were victims of human trafficking from April 2001 to June 2002.Two-thirds (2/3) of victims in alleged human trafficking incidents were either, 17 or younger (27%), or 18 to 24 (38%). 71% of sexting victims are under 25 years old. 70% of labor trafficking victims are over 25 years old. US citizens account for 63% of sexting victims and 4% of labor trafficking victims.
In conclusion, human trafficking needs to be stopped because its hurtful and deadly. n the end of sex trafficking many victims end up dead. We need more laws and enforcement against human trafficking.
