Sad City Day
I awake from my deep slumber, slowly slipping out of my fine wooden bed, still groggy I stumble towards the dark brown paneled window. Pulling back the red velvet curtains, I sigh at the view that awaits me, a foggy window with rain drops trailing down, reminding me of tears that stain my sorrowful face. Huge figures of buildings loom out in front of me their lights looking like lonely candles on a rather large birthday cake. The rain pours down hard and fast like a bucket of pebbles being dumped. The wind gusts and thunder rumbles in the distance and I wonder why am I so sad.
