One Day
One day the cruelty will be driven out. One day the tyranny will be extinguished. One day the next generation won’t be looked at as the last hope, but the pioneers of tomorrow. One day people will look to their leader without hatred or doubts. They will look at their precursor and see a bright future. This is no dream of which I speak of, these are no false hopes. This is the future if we can look past our own selves. Can we do even that? Can we forget about our own success and try to create it for others? If we can’t, than I am writing a thing of fiction. Maybe our Utopia is not flying cars and moving sidewalks. Maybe our Utopia is a world free of prejudice, just maybe. It’s a lot to ask for, I know, but somebody’s got to ask. Now get ready for the tough part. I have asked the question, but will you give me an answer?
