Horses MAG
What matters to me is
seeing this majestic creature
standing before my eyes,
feeling his soft muzzle
brush my skin.
What matters to me is
having the thud of hooves
match the rhythm of my beating heart,
hearing his neigh
calm my restless soul.
What matters to me is
feeling his power
contained within my reins,
holding onto his energy
with my body.
What matters to me is
feeling the wind race through my hair
as his mane stings my face,
dancing like a graceful ballerina
momentarily stopping time.
What matters to me is
loving this glorious beast
for all that it’s worth,
knowing he was sent from Heaven
to take me to another world.
