What's the Big Deal With the Poll?

It’s on these days where we get to wake up early, or sleep in. We go to our local churches, post offices, town halls to wait in long line’s. Long line’s for what? For a free sandwich? A new tool or game? No. We wait in these long lines to go vote. To use our voice to impact our country, our lives, our home. We go to the polls for that “I voted” sticker that shows that we used that voice to let our opinions out.

Nowadays, people will probably ask, “What’s the big deal with the poll?” When people ask that question, it’s basically saying “Why should I care?” With the decline of the voting, it shows that our voice is becoming scratchy and we’re losing it. It’s disgusting to me when people get pissy when the person they wanted to win didn’t win and they say, “Well I didn’t get the opportunity to vote. I want a re-election.” To that I say NO! You have a choice whether to vote or not and if you choose not to vote, that’s a choice that you should have to deal with because clearly you had something better to do instead of vote.

So what’s the big deal with the poll? It’s when we get up on these early mornings that we get the opportunity to show our colors, use our voice, and to make a change in our country.
