The Selection MAG
I examine my body
like a piece of meat
being selected for “prime cut”
I don't think anything could
make me more tender
than the cruelty of the market
My body has been beaten
to market standards –
big breasts, lean legs, thick thighs
Every ounce of me is stripped,
Yet after all of
this, their choice is still unknown
