Finding the Richest in Povery
I found Natalie V.'s article "Finding the Riches in Poverty" extremely moving because her realistic mindset on povery and life is sincere. She shares her experiences of different cultures and lifestyles. One example is her visits to the orphanages often described as joyful, enthusiastic, energetic kids pleased for a new visitor. Despite certain circumstances that each child faces such as poverty and limited opportunities, they found happiness in the simplest ways, from mud toys to cheap donated shoes. This taught me to appreciate life great or small and to never take anything for granted because life is too priceless.
Thank you Natalie for your amazing work and the powerful message that hopefully changes one's perspective for the world.
