response to avery jones
I agree with Avery Jones’ article called “Is Marching Band a Sport?” I agree with the evidence on how marching band is a sport. She explained it very well. When she stated, “strength agility and stamina: we’ve got all three.” I am in marching band, and sometimes it can be hard when we have to run across the field and at the same time and play an instrument. The level of difficulty also is determined by what skill level the member is at. The higher the harder because you will have to move more to make more dots. Band kids have to have bright minds. It’s not all fun and games. It’s hard to move and play well. The writer said, “It’s our job to keep the energy high at all times.” This is the main propose of band.
