The Clean Water Crisis
I wholeheartedly agree with Lily C. in her article The Clean Water Crisis because water shortage is a huge world problem in modern society. Our world mainly consists of salt water, which is undrinkable for humans, while merely one percent of the earths water is considered fresh (drinkable). According to the U.S. Geological Study report, 663 million people lack asccess to clean water ( Capeci 17). This is misfortunate, the average person wastes 95% of there daily consumption. Water is a necessary natural resource for most living things on earth, so change needs to happen. Lily Capeci's article pinpoints major problems concering water waste. These problems need to be addressed impromptu, so life on earth can prosper longer.
