Why I Need to go to College
I found Jose's article, "Why I need to go to college" extremely motivating because in his article he states, "As the son of immigrant parents, I listened to my father's stories of crossing the border in search of a better life in America. He was only 16 and needed to find work and send money to his family in mexico." I can relate to Jose 100% because my parents have struggled so much to get me where I am at today. My dad had to work two or three jobs to feed and care for us. For me not to go to college would make me feel like a disappoinment. I want my parents to be extremely proud of me. I want to thank you Jose for inspiring me to try harder in school.
