But... Bacon!
I can relate to Anne Mickey when she wrote about being a vegetarian in her article. Anne Mickey wriets "meat... [decreases] overall life expectancy and increases the risk of stroke as well as coronary heart disease - the number one cause of death in the United States for both women and men." Being a vegetarian is easy, no matter how good bacon is, when you know all the good that comes from being a vegetarian. Something else Anne Mickey writes about is the way people say "I couldn't [be a vegetarian]." She brings up the fact that if she could do it as a young girl, an adult can easily do it. Thank you, Anne for letting everyone know the truth about being a vegetarian and how much work it takes. In the end, it is all worth it.
