Joy in the Darkness
In “Joy in the Darkness” by Siani N., she describes a mission trip she took to San Pedro Sula, Honduras and how it changed her outlook on life. “Life was dangerous and unpredictable,” Siani describes as she talks about what life would be like to live in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Siani explains the terrible, depressing stories of the children she met while in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. “What I did not realize then was the enormity of joy each of them had despite their situation,” Siani describes. I think it’s amazing that Siani had such an enormous impact on the people she met on her mission trip. She took their bad situations and made the children smile and laugh through their companionship. I believe that others should take after Siani Null and have a good impact on people who went or are going through dark times and help them through the dark times through companionship.
