Acceptance Vs Tolerance
The article I read was one that I could really connect to. Tolerance Vs Acceptance is a short article about an atheist girl who takes a summer job washing dishes at an all out Christian Camp.
At arrival, her appearance causes judgement and mugging. Shortly after, long conversations take place, as well as debate like arguments, about who between the two is right and how she could not believe in God. After a couple days of being there, the narrator talks about how she just tolerates everyone along with their beliefs. She then gives a list of reasons as to how she has learned to accept everyone and their beliefs, rather than to tolerate them.
This article affected me personally, I too am atheist. I just tolerated everyone for their beliefs. This short article has opened my mid in such way where I accept everyone and their beliefs.
