Headlines of a 10-year-old Gone Missing
Just recently not long ago in Connecticut there was a plethora of families that lost their children at school, a place where they thought was a safety environment for their little angels. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry. I'm not a mother, but I am an older sister, a role model and I love her so much. I can't even imagine if she went missing I would drive myself crazy, She's my princess, my little angel. I can relate to the poem"Headlines of a 10-year-old Gone Missing" By Katherine, because I can feel the pain that the families are feeling just by not knowing where their little daughter is at. "Still doesn't make it to school.Missing her." those lines break my heart and makes me relate to the poem even more. Not knowing if your daughter is cold, hungry, sad, scared, is just a devastating thought. I found Katherine's Rice poem extremely moving and full of emotion. Great job! Love this poem"Headlines of a 10-year-old Gone Missing."
