Spread My Wings
I found Donnell's article "Spread My Wings," extremely moving. He has inspired me to not allow obstacles to get in my way. As a former track runner, I can also say that it has changed multiple aspects of my life. "I know that my learning disability does not define me," just like Davis, I have realized that what I could not do the first time does not mean I could not do it the second time. What I cannot do to begin with just gives me a reason to try harder to achieve those goals that seem to difficult to complete.
