In Ashley Green’s non-fiction story, “Summer Bummer” she writes about the responsibility of having a summer job and giving up everything fun. This hit a cord with me after finishing my summer job.

Ashley writes what I believe to every teen with a job thinks. In her story she states things like “Now when I see little kids, I want to scream at them to take it all in to be glad for the chance to stay home and be bored because it won't last forever.” I feel when she gives her opinion its the best way you can describe having a summer job. The realistic ideas and feelings is what makes this piece better.

I understand what its like and she describes the feeling perfectly. This really made me feel like I'm not the only one to feel this way. As another working teen to another you have my regards and good luck. (in writing and working)
