An Epidemic of Stupidity
Sarah M wrote a fabulous point of view piece called “An Epidemic of Stupidity.” It appeared in the October issue. Sarah wrote about how television shows are bad influences on our children, and if we don’t stop the stupidity on TV our country will be run to the ground.
I agree with Sarah completely. I don’t want my daughters thinking a good way to get boy’s attention is to act stupid. We should have better television shows. I have seen shows like “Bridezillas” and “Monster In-Laws” and I don’t think anybody should treat people like that. It seems like most of the TV shows now are just bad influences.
Sarah also said that these “stupid girls” are going to have kids and the kids will be like them. It is just going to be one big circle. If we put better shows on TV then maybe we can change that. Thank you Sarah for writing this fabulous piece!
