War Piant
I found the poem “War Paint,” very moving. I loved how the author, Erika Arellano, related make-up to the war paint used in the military; it really captured my mind’s imagination. The part that really got to me was when she stated” They need no weapons, With their slander as ammunition.” This poem is entirely true, about girls and spreading rumors and it can do more damage then they realizes. Thank you Erika, for this wonderful poem I enjoyed it and I hope that others enjoy it as well.
