Broken Wings MAG
The February issue was excellent and had a lot ofwonderful stories, but the one that caught my eye and broke my heart was"Broken Wings" by Ashley W.
I have never lost anyone tosuicide so I couldn't understand how Ashley's narrator felt when she discoveredher friend had committed suicide. The way he's described, though, is sobeautiful. Why couldn't people just accept him for who he was? Why couldn't hisfather just live with the fact that his son was gay? How could he not go to hisown son's funeral?
