September 11 Focus MAG
September 11 was a wake-up call for America. It made people realize that we are not always safe. Even though terrorists tried to bring down the World Trade Center in 1993, we did not learn our lesson by tightening security. We lost over 3,000 people that day and have been at war since.
Watching my dad - a New York City firefighter - go to all the funerals over the last two years keeps me thinking about all those who died. The one thing I have learned from all of this is that we should never forget that day, and never let it happen again.
