I can relate to Breaden Kelly about loot boxes in his article "Video Games Loot Boxes Should Be Illegal". I agree that loot boxes and in game purchases can cause kids to develop a problem and can lead to long term effects. However I disagree about banning loot boxes. The only reseason why loot boxes are so appealing is the mystery of what you can get in the loot box. I think that instead of banning them, loot box and any other microtransactions they should be more resticted. When Braeden said, "video game companies are trying... to get players to hand over every cent they own" I agree but for a different reason. Taking one of the most popular game "Fortnite", it is a free game that anyone can download and play. The only way the company can make money off the game are through micrtransactions. In short, instead of banning loot boxes, microtransactions should be more restricted.
