Black Is Beauty
The article Black Is Beauty by Shenell L. Birmingham is very beautiful and relatable. I'm Arabic and I go through amost all the situations she goes through. The part when she explains how black girls are protrayed as "ratchet" and "too loud" is very relatble. I get the same treatment. I get called "dangerous" and "terriorist" because of what some people from my country did. I shouldn't be included in any actions those people did. I'm not mad, just like Shenell says, "we are all human. Nothing is going to change unless we all make effort." Stearoypes shouldn't be tollerated, it's basically racism.
