College Should Be Free MAG
“College Should be Free,” written by Jeb, talks about why students shouldn’t have to pay college tuition. I feel his proposal is too expensive. College should not be free. People would be taxed even more than they already are for something they may not even be using. It’s not going to help our society in the long run. It’s just going to take more money from people who have just enough to get by. Then, these people have to borrow money which weakens the economy and puts the U.S. in even more debt. How would teachers get paid? By the time you pay teachers and add in the money needed for supplies and buildings on campus, it’s way too much for the public to pay for.
