Mental Illness: Erase the Stigma
I can relate to Elaine with her article, "Mental Illness: Erase the Stigma". I agree that people diagnosed with mental illness are viewed as weaker. "I didn't socialize and always felt sick". I understand this feeling very well. I really enjoy the message at the end, when she admits, "We're just as strong and have special gifts like everyone else. Erase the stigma around mentall illness. And please, take your medication". This particular quote is really encouraging. Thank you Elaine, for helping me feel more socially comfortable.
