How To Accept the Terrifying Fact That You're Going To College
In Lilly Hershey-Webb's article "How To Accept the Terrifying Fact That You're Going To College", Lilly is able to accurately convey my thoughts and emotions on how I feel about college. To elaborate, Lilly stresses the fact that at first she didn't feel the excitement about attending college. Her and I can relate in that way because in my high school career, I reached a point where my priorities became revolved around my grades and not my own self-enjoyment. Although, I have come to an understanding that my education is important and "I accepted that life goes on", as stated by Lilly Webb. I now realize that all the effort that I am putting in early on will set me up for success in my later life. My educational years are merely a bump in the road that are not going to do anything but help me achieve the life I dream of. I thank Lilly Hershey-Webb for helping me discover this realization.
