I found Cooper Greene's article "Dress to Imress"( in the August 2018 issue) very true and something schools should be considering. As a girl in high school i have expirinced how harsh and strict school dress codes are for girls. As the author explains many guys don't even care about the dress code or think about it because they don't have many rules, and also it is very rare for a guy to get dress coded. Meanwhile girls get dress coded for the samllest things even if your belly is showing just a bit by accident this could cause and issue and lead to the girl to get dress coded. Even guys have agreed that the dress code imposed for girls are too strict and it is not fair that boys don't get the same treatment. As Greene said teenagers at this age are still finding themselves and who they are and a major part of this is influnced in the way you dress, but when we are getting in trouble because of this, the freedom to express ourselves is taken away. I would like to thank you Peter Greene because as a guy you spoke up for girls and the unfair dress code being imposed.
