Devils Pitchfork
I wish people would understand how terrible smoking is for you. I wish they could understand how bad it affects their family. My grandma smokes; she has for years. I try to understand why but I just cant. I've told her all the side affects, about how it murders more people than actual killers do. She just doesn't understand. She stopped smoking for a while which pleased me greatly. When I hugged her, she smelled like herself and not a walking cigarette. But now that she's started dating her old flame, she has picked up the devils pitchfork and started to slowly drain herself of all her wonderful life. When she stopped smoking I felt so excited and thought she finally understood; I looked up to her, but now that she started again I look at her in a different way. Every time I see her smoking, it kills me inside because she's committing a slow painful suicide. Its hard watching someone you love as they slowly take their life.
