The Importance of Your Ankle
I never realized just how importance my ankle is. Ever since I broke it, I have been unable to walk, run, tend my garden, carry my little sister, see my Godchild, or even use the bathroom comfortably. My boyfriend cant hug me into him like he used to, I can not go to work, and I cant even walk up the stairs to my room. Im isolated. Most things I do, I need watching for incase my crutches slip. I have always been a very active, independant girl. Now, I feel vulnerable and needy. It is the most infuriating experience that i have ever been through. I have five more weeks before I can even stand without crutches........An ankle is such a vital thing. Now, all because of that stupid skateboard, I will have a metal ankle for the rest of my life.
