My name is Jose, and I'm a 16 year old Mexican American boy who grew up in the big city. My dad is a hardworking concrete worker, and my mom works as a housekeeper in one of the big hotels around town. As a kid, I loved spending time with my dad on job sites, and I often helped him out when I could.

When I was 14, I started smoking weed as a way to relax and escape the stress of school and life. It quickly became a habit that I couldn't break, and it started to interfere with my daily life. Despite my addiction, I wanted to take control of my health and focus on something positive. That's when I decided to start going to the gym.

At first, it was a challenge. I was still struggling with my addiction, and it was hard to stay motivated. But I started to see progress. I was lifting more weight, running faster, and feeling better about myself. Going to the gym became a way for me to escape the negative cycle of addiction and start focusing on my health and fitness.

But even as I was making progress in the gym, I knew that I needed to quit smoking if I wanted to truly be healthy. It was a difficult decision, and I struggled to quit on my own. I kept it a secret from my family, not wanting to disappoint them or admit that I had a problem.

Finally, last month, I was able to quit. It hasn't been easy, but I'm proud of myself for taking this step towards a healthier and happier life.

Despite my struggles with addiction, I've never lost sight of my passions and goals. I'm determined to be successful and make my family proud. I love learning about health and fitness, and I'm excited to continue growing and improving myself. My Mexican heritage is a source of pride for me, and I love connecting with my family's traditions and culture. I may be a Mexican American boy from Las Vegas, but I know that I have the potential to achieve great things.

I'm a regular kid who likes to read and that likes to type on the keyboard and express what I have in my head.
