Who is responsible? I 100% believe that tobacco companies are responsible, why? Because most tobacco companies that make vapes stated that they were to help people stop smoking cigarettes and to eventually quit smoking, but was that really the case when it came to these vapes?
Some may disagree and say that vaping isn't harmful and not a soul is responsible, or that its internally the teenager's and the parents/guardians that are responsible, I disagree with that. Someone is responsible! The tobacco companies are...They made these juuls and vapes to help people stop smoking cigarettes and maybe eventually stop smoking completely. But little do they know they're even worse. Many teens are getting their hands on them when they were originally meant for adults in the first place. Companies knew what they were doing. What adult would want mango, fruity pebbles, and blueberry pods? That are as thick as Vaseline and challenges on YouTube, snapchat, Instagram, and other social medias these adults don’t even have, these were directed towards teens.
As of this day 800+ people are sick and 15 died, isn't that crazy? These teenagers weren't looking forward to these vapes being harmful in such a way. Maybe the teen wasn’t even hooked on cigarettes but was very stressed and so they started to vape, because basically they put out there that it was safer and more healthy than a cigarette. Now these young teens have acute respiratory distress syndrome, there is much more to this that they aren't letting on.
This is important because many people are sick and dying because these vapes. People are putting liquid as thick as Vaseline inside of their lungs and aren't informed about the Nickle, tin, lead, and benzene, ultrafine particles. In order to put a stop this this and regulate it we all must have to come as one. People with families are dying and this has been since august of 2019 and still to this day and not till 2022 will this begin to stop because the FDA. We need to take this into consideration and stop being selfish. Let's do something!
