the wave
When walking on to a beach what first meets the eye is the ocean. The waves curl like a beckoning finger, only to end with a colossal splash that sends salt water flying. The feel in the air hot but not humid, with a slight breeze. The soft sand enveloping your toes like a blanket caresses your body. The rhythm of the ocean a soft but confident sound. The clear blue ocean glistening in the sunlight, looking as if there were a bed of crystals atop it. The shadow of a tree a perfect outline. The intake of the salty ocean smell calming your mind. The sight of the sun at a just position where it's breaking through the clouds like a child's face breaking into a grin when given what he wants.
