Mountains
I’m crazy about mountains.
Each snow crested peak rises and falls with a different pattern. There are mountains with sheer steep points while others have smooth rounded tops. But below each peak is a magical world: tall shapely pine trees and scattered boulders, stealthy animals and hidden flowers. Each natural object brings a sense of freedom. Peace. Everything smells so good, like Mother Nature herself breathed the breath of life into the strong vanilla smelling pins. Alone, but not alone, each squirrel and deer pass by, each leaf, flower, and pine needle sway in the breeze, each breath is shared. At last the sun reaches you through the sparse openings. It warms you. It comforts you. It greets all. The peaks rise up to meet the sun and shine forth for all.
