Gun control is one the issue that America is having. American’s are against it, but some are not against it. Guns can be extremely powerful weapons. They can cause destruction, harm or even death. It can be use to protect and defend or try to use it as a weapon in crime and kill somebody. Personally I think having a gun is important because you can use it as a weapon to defend yourself if somebody try to break in your house. Gun laws should only be for people who doesn’t do anything that would harm somebody and commit a crime.

According to my sources online, there have been 351 mass shootings in the United States in 2015. Gun’s should be use for protecting yourself from harm not use it to kill somebody even though they did not do anything. Crimes have increased in the last decades. People need to understand that gun is a powerful weapon.

The purpose of having the gun control is to keep it away from the hands of criminals. the biggest question about gun control is whether gun’s are helpful tools that many Americans are saying or are they been used as killing machine that the news and articles have been saying. In my opinion guns should be legal to keep the society from criminals and also could be used as a protection.
