A major thing that is going on out here in the world and in the streets is gun and gang violence.

Gun and gang violence is bad and serious to our society . And this will come to an end sooner or later.Even if it is to the death of me.I have my reasons for it which are, lots of people might start to fear you, you can kill people and hurt people even more.

My first reason gun and gang violence is bad and serious to our society is because other people might fear you.For example the man on the news that was going around kidnaping women.Now people will get scared if they hear that name. Also that man was armed .In that as a result my brother Ajani is terrified of guns.If he see a gun he run with his terrified face.

My second reason gun and gang violence is bad and serious to our society because you can kill people and hurt even more people.For example my cousin Mont-Mont just died not too long ago.His real name was Lamont and he died December 7,2013 from gun violence.This had impacted my family extremely.Nobody could hold it in. We got together every night crying and pray together . My aunt Teresa wasn’t crying that much because she had to be strong for everybody else.My mother was working nonstop to make sure that everything for Mont-Mont was right.

I want to conclude that gun and gang violence is bad and serious to our society is the effect of people who lost their loved ones. I know that some people believe that should take somebody’s life because you think that person disrespected your crew or gang.

Guess what you don’t have the right to do that because what if it was switched around . And someone killed one of your family members for that reason.Would you be upset if this happened to you. It isn’t right so stop thinking about it in that way.For example now my little cousin Lamonie got to wake up not knowing that her dad is not coming home. Shenell my little cousin Lamonie mother have to to tell her that daddy is not coming home, and Shenell is is hurting as well.In that result Mont-Mont daughter Lamonie have to live without her father for the rest of her life.
