Technology Dependence
Dear Mudeline Reid,
I concur with your examination our generation has an increasing thirst for technological relief from the demands of daily life. As I observe the constant progression of the modern world around me, I realize how exponentially dependent we are on technology. I agree with your opinion that our generation has developed an ineluctable reliance on technology. Also, your assessment on how internet entertainment feeds the need for technology and obscures teenagers form reality can be corroborated by comparing this generation’s reliance on technology with previous generations. Our over-competitive generation is overwhelmed by propaganda and manipulated into believing that technology in our daily lives is a necessity. Therefore, the overt aspirations to obtain the latest technological innovation have produced a society that competes to be the most up to date.
