Criminals
The existence of criminals confuses me.
As soon as they commit a heinous act, the world often views them as less than human; I can't help but wonder why they would commit it if it causes them to become dehumanized by society. However, after researching, I found that people often turn to crime due to their living conditions; They might not have enough resources to live or other social elements. The world does not help these people, causing crime to be their best resort. If the world already treats them as less than, why would they worry about officially being dehumanized? As a member of society, it is my responsibility to help this country decrease the level of crime; By helping those in poor living conditions and fixing our mentality that we are better than them, I believe it is possible to significantly lower the crime rate and even reduce it completely.
