If you are easily scared, stop reading now; otherwise, proceed with caution. If you are still reading, I am assuming you are brave enough to read this story I am about to tell you.

On June 26, 1952, there was a boy named Cray.  He was an only child and lived with his mom and dad. That night, Cray and his parents were watching a new horror movie his parents picked.  His parent’s loved horror movies, but Cray hated them.  Since he was only 8, he had a bedtime for 10pm and tonight he couldn’t wait for it.  As he was listening to the gunshots, screams, sounds of squirting blood, and above all crying, he was curled up in a ball on the hard, freezing wooden floor.  Once it turned 10pm, he ran to straight to his room crying with terror in his eyes and still thinking about all the creepy-faced dolls and clowns.

As he sat on his bed, he put on his jammies; he layed back on his back turning his lamp that was next to him on. He turned to lay on his belly to sleep, still crying, but softer now. As he laid there on his bed, he drifted into a dream, a dark creepy one, that he will surely will never forget.  It begins as he sits up seeing nothing… after a couple seconds there was a sudden flash of light, blinding him for a moment. When he recovered, he saw everything in his room. Even after the movie and the light he still got up and started walking to the bathroom. As Cray was walking down the hall towards the bathroom, he jumped as he felt something rub against him. He looked around, but there was nothing he could see.  He kept heading towards the bathroom.  When he was a couple inches away from the bathroom, he felt something touch him again; this time on the opposite side.  He looked around, but it was still too dark to see anything. As he continued towards the bathroom, it started it to get colder and colder. When he got to the door, he was reluctant, but he quickly turned the handle and went into the bathroom.

When he walked into the bathroom, he felt cold as ice, as if everything had been frozen.  Every turn he made he kept on feeling something rub against him. He turned toward the light switch, and flicked it on.  When he did… he saw; tall, hovering, black, mysterious figures, that all instantly faced him. When he saw them, he turned and ran right out the door, down the stairs and towards his parents room.  When he got to their room,  he saw they were not there. When Cray could not see his parents, he ran everywhere in their room.  He was hoping they might be elsewhere in the room, but he was wrong.  They were missing. When he finished looking in their room, he went searching the laundry room, garage, guest room, dining room, kitchen, and everywhere else he could think of.  However, they were nowhere to be found. He decided to go back to the bathroom to see if the creepy figures were still there.  When he got there he saw his parents bodies being held in the air by the mysterious figures. They were tantilizing him with his parents. As he dropped to his knees and started crying, the mysterious figures came close to him and put his parents bodies down in front of him. Cray started to think about how pensive and suave his father was, and how sweet and nice his mother was. In Spite of his parents deaths he stood up and turned towards the door.  Because of the ice around the room, he thought the figures might hate fire. So he ran to the garage to get the flamethrower that his father owned as a stuntman.  He then ran back up to the bathroom and blasted it everywhere.   The mysterious figures were be burnt to a crisp. As the figures were burning, the bathroom filled up black smoke and ash. He started feel dizzy.  He ran over to his dead parents bodies and held them tight as he thought he was dying.

As he passes out in his dream,  he begins to wake up in reality.  He finds himself in bed and instantly run to the bathroom.  To see if anything was there, but there was nothing. He turned and ran to his parents room to see them singing the creepiest song of the movie they watched last night. He ran over to them and hug them like there was no tomorrow. They asked, “if everything was okay” and he answered, “yes everything's better now.”
