Complicated
I was running down a long, dark corridor that never seemed to end.Trying to escape. Trying to live. Trying to do anything but surrender. A big, bony hand came down on my shoulder. I tried to scream but couldn't. Crushing defeat rushed through me. I turned to face the predator that tortured me for months, now closing in on its defesless prey. I turned and saw his face. Scary, mean, and sadly mistaken. His obsession with me was rooted too deep in his brain for anyone to set him straight. I sreamed and fought and......... woke up. I wiped the tears off my naturally pale face. It was just a dream. For now.
