Hidden Underground
Amon lay in his chamber deep inside the catacombs beneath Paris. He groaned and dragged his claw against the wall, marking another miserable day he was stuck there.
He closed his eyes and tried to sleep but his hunger kept him awake.
He got up and started pacing.
What was there to eat this far underground?
Nothing.
Nothing but a dead body that he wasn’t willing to eat.
He looked up at the one entrance and exit to his room that was directly above his head.
He could almost reach it when he jumped.
But even if he could get out, it had been so long since he had been through the catacombs and he was sure to get lost.
He growled.
How could they just chase him down there and leave him?
He roared in anger since his escape route was so close yet so very far.
He looked at the rotting corpse beside him before laying down next to it.
“I miss you.”
