Flashes of thunder go off, lights flickering on and off, the night of a new moon.

“The most vulnerable time for an attack!” exclaimed Chief Hawkins. Which is exactly what happened that night at the Johnson household. It was a murder that was all planned out, that's what  Robert Hut knew. He was the best detective in town, he is slick, sneak , and smart. Most important of all, he was yet to fail a case, but there was no doubt that this would be the hardest of all.

“It’s not one of your ordinary murders,  this was planned all out. It was done very strategically.” Hut whispered to himself.

“What makes you say that? Questioned Chief Hawkins.

“You can see a break in from the roof and blueprints up there as well. Whoever did the murder was not the brightest individual.” replied Hut.

“Well, let's check it out.” said Hawkins lastly.

As they were making their way to the roof, Hut suspects something suspicious.

“Stop for a second.” Hut said with a confused voice

Hawkins replied with “ What is it?”

“I don’t know but it has an opening, possibly leading to something.

“It’s probably just the house settling in.” Hawkins exclaimed.

“Maybe.” Hut said.

As they were climbing up the ladder onto the roof they saw the blueprints, Hut immediately ran to them.

“Well, there is no doubt that they are blueprints. Hut confidently said.

“To the whole house, or just one specific area?” Hawkins asked.

“The whole house, this could be a clue.” Hut anxiously remarked.

“What makes this a clue?” replied Hawkins.

“This could mean that they are possibly hiding down somewhere.” Hut said determined.

“How do you know it’s multiple?” Hawkins questioned.

Hut replied with, “ There are 3 ropes, assuming one is for each, unless this guy is a big one.”

Coming back down from the roof a thud is heard, everyone that was laid back is now on alert.

“It sounded like it came from the basement!” Exclaimed an officer.

“Of course, the basement.” Hut whispered.

As Hut and Hawkins moved to the basement another was heard, “THUD!” The house shaked as if something dropped, something big. The force including Hut moved downstairs quickly to see if there is somebody. Another bang was heard, this time a lot louder. “Rumble, Rumble!” The house was shaking vigorously, and then seconds later everything goes silent.

“SHHHH!!!!” A police officer waled.

“Let’s all split up and find this guy. Hut proposed.

Nobody denied and they all went their different ways. Just as one team is already long gone, a scream is heard. Everyone rushes over to the direction and there a body was seen, while unconscious the person is twitching and squirming as if he is a fish out of water.

“HE’S GETTING AWAY!” An officer shouts at the top of his lungs.

As they all rush after him Hut notices something about the robber, his form looks very familiar, but Hut manages to keep his mind focused on the robber and keeps running.

“Jeez, how big is this basement!?” Hawkins said out of breath.

“Not big enough for some millionaires.” Hut said quirkily.

“AHHHH!” A man screamed.

Hut again stumbles after going in too deep thought on how that voice sounds so familiar.
“Kevin, my brother?” Hut asked.

“Alright you caught me, I was planning this for weeks and I was scared of you. I knew that I would have to put a lot of thought into this. I heard you and I had to hide.” Kevin replied.

“But, why would you do this, you said that you were going on vacation. Right?” Hut wondered.
