The boys have gone

It was a cold November morning, I was just waking up from a good night sleep. My name is Bradley Uppercrust III. I am the most famous detective in the eastern hemisphere. I’ve been solving cases since I was four and helped my parents with the family business. Now, I’m eighteen and ready to take over the business. So today was my first day on the job. I couldn’t wait to get started.

As I walked down the main street I saw something a little fishy in the alleyway. However, I just kept on walking. A short time later I arrived at  Uppercrust and Co. I was so excited I could hardly wait. When I got there I saw on the television that Chad Bailey and Thad Miller had gone missing earlier today. They were some of my best friends growing up they also had the best names ever. So right away I had my first assignment. First, I took some time thinking about the whole thing and by the time I finished it was already 6 pm and dark. So, I decided to pack up and go home for the day. As I was walking home I saw something run by me then I felt a hand grab me and suddenly a sack got put on my head. When they finally took it off it had felt like hours I had been in that sack. So I got out and went into a house. There I saw Chad and Thad they were tied up. When I asked what they wanted they said they want to take over the city. That leads me to ask why to take us. They respond by saying you are three of the most famous people in the city.

That night I thought to myself how am I going to get out of here. We were locked in the basement and sleeping on the cold floor. All I could think of was getting out of here. Then an idea came to my head. Then I realized the scissors on the ground and so I grabbed them and were able to escape. However, we knew they would come down and make sure we are still there. So, we decided to open and window leave our stuff on the floor and hide. So, that they would go out and look for us, so we could leave and not have them find us. When they walked down they did something we did not prepare for, a flashlight. So, they came down and found our scraps and so they started to look around and discovered us. However, we saw him first and started to beat the one game up and when the others came down we were ready and we took it to them. Then we made our daring escape and were able to make it back to my house and we never saw them again.
