Wait stop if they would have just listened to me! Here is the true tale of Aiden Smith, the one that no one ever seemed willing to listen to.
Flashback a few weeks before. Aiden wakes up.
Oh great another day (sarcastic) yeah!
He looks in his bathroom mirror disgusted. He hugs himself and touches the mirror. 
(sings) It’s okay, it’s a new day

Aiden arrives at school and goes to a noisy homeroom.
Mrs. Lumpkin
Everybody shut up! I love you.
Aiden
(in his mind) Mrs. Lumpkin my bipolar homeroom teacher. She is a one crazy b****.
Mrs. Lumpkin
Did everybody see my tweet last night? If you retweeted it or favorited I gave you extra credit, you’re welcome. I’m kind of tired, so enjoy the free period.
Aiden sits alone in midst of classroom noise.
(in his mind)  When I first started high school I just wanted for people to listen to me. But, with time I guess your standards drop. I went from wanting people to be my friend, to talk to me, to even just look at me. Do people see right through me? Do I even exist? If I screamed would someone hear my cry? Am I just invisible or something. Is it that hard to say hi?
The noise gets louder and annoys Aiden.
(In his mind)Why can’t everyone just shut up for a second? It’s this noise that is making me go crazy. I see all these bright happy faces people together and I’m all alone. Is something wrong with me?
Aiden is at dinner table with, His father and mother, Steve and Mary Smith.
Steve
How was school today?
Aiden
I don’t want to talk about it.
Steve
Okay.
Awkward silence.
Steve
Did any of your friends invite you over?

Aiden
I have to go have a lot of homework to do.
Mary
But you haven’t finished your dinner.
Aiden
I’m not hungry!
Aiden goes to his bedroom to cry and pray.
I know it’s been awhile but why god why? This isn’t fair. Everyone is happy but me. Everyone is all buddy-buddy and what about me. I’m all alone. Are some people destined to be alone forever? Is that me…it can’t be can it? Answer me! 
He collides into his mirror. He cries as his body slides down the mirror.
Aiden
God please if there is one thing I ask of you it’s for someone, a person. I don’t care who, just someone that won’t make me feel so alone, a living breathing person, someone to talk to; someone to look at me not through or over me please. That’s all I ask in Jesus name amen.
Aiden wakes up.
Oh great I’m still here. (to himself)
Mary
Aiden hurry up or you’ll be late for school!
Aiden arrives at school puts book in locker. New guy comes towards Aiden.
Byron (new kid)
Hey I’m new here and was wondering if you could tell where Mrs. Lumpkin’s room is?
Aiden
Oh I have her I can show you I guess.
In Lumpkin’s class Byron sees Aiden sitting by himself.
Byron
Why aren’t you talking to anyone?
Aiden
The real question is why are you still talking to me? If you couldn’t tell already I have no friends.
Byron
I know but, I want to help you.
Aiden
Sure, the last thing I need right now is more humiliation.

Aiden

Aiden goes to see his counselor
Counselor

Aiden
What’s okay, I just wanted those stupid kids to shut up.
Counselor
I know you have had a tough year to make friends.
Aiden
More like lifetime.
Counselor
I’m sending you to the school therapist.
Aiden
You can’t do that! People would think I’m crazy. My social life would be over.
Counselor
It’s for your own good.
Aiden
You think that some stupid piece of paper makes you so smart! Don’t pretend that you care; I have my parents to do that for me!
Counselor
You know what I feel sorry for you. Get out of my sight! I’ve got a lot more people to see that are actually willing to take my advice goodbye.
Aiden to Byron
Shocker another person gave up on me.
Byron
Who cares what that stupid cow thinks 
Aiden laughs.
Byron
I know what we can do to get back at her.
Aiden
What is it?
Byron
Just meet me at her house tonight.
Aiden

They tepee her house; Byron returns alone, setting the house on fire. The next day at school.
Mrs. Lumpkin
Children last night the counselor’s house caught on fire, police are still investigating, and are asking for any information.
Aiden to Byron
Did you do it?
Bryron
I didn’t I left with you remember.
Aiden
Did you go back I swear if you’re lying…
Byron
How could I lie to my best friend.
During lunch, students tell Lumpkin they think Aiden did it.
She calls the police and they arrive in the classroom.
Cops to Aiden
We need to ask you some questions.
Were where you last night?
Aiden
With my friend, Byron, he is in my class.
Cops
Were you in any way involved with the fire?
Aiden
No.
Cops
Do you have anything else to say?
Aiden
No.
Cops leave than come back to arrest Aiden.
Aiden
You can’t arrest me I’m innocent I swear. Let me call my parents this is all a misunderstanding.
Cops become more hostile in cuffing.
We are going to need you to calm down.
Aiden hyperventilates.
Get your dirty hands off me!
Aiden kicks cops in crouch and tries running, but falls.
Cops inject him when he becomes violent.
Aiden wakes up with a bright light in his face.
Who are you? Where am I? Am I dead?
Psychiatrist
I’m Dr. Mendle and you are at Safety Mental Asylum.
Aiden
I don’t belong here this is a huge mistake.
Psychiatrist
I’m sorry but you’re going to have to stay put and take these.
Aiden
Pills for what!
Psychiatrist
It is for your own good.
Aiden
Don’t tell me what to do. If I take these people think I’m crazy, I won’t.
Psychiatrist
You’ll take them whether you like it or not.  And it is a little late for that, everyone knows Aiden Smith is off the handle. 
Aiden screams and tries to attack psychiatrist.
Psychiatrist

Aiden is injected and wakes up.
Psychiatrist
So we can do it the easy way or the hard way.
Aiden takes the pills.
You’re a bigger buzz kill than a Monday morning hangover.
Aiden sees the world in a new perspective. He is high on life, he can’t stop
smiling, and feels nothing. He overhears a familiar voice, weaker it is Byron. He is in the cell next door.
Byron
Psst Aiden.
Aiden
Hey bro.
Byron
What is up with you?
Aiden
It is these pills I’m taking dude their gnarly. Makes me more “balanced” the doctors say.
Byron
You have to stop taking those pills they are trying to separate us. They are trying to hurt you.
Aiden
What do I do?
Byron
Flush them, stomp ‘em just get rid of them!
Aiden’s parents
How are you son?
Aiden sings I’m okay, I will get through it
Even if it takes an eternity
Just have to take it slow
I am happy I guess for now
He returns to his cell singing to himself.
It’s this artificial feeling that is consuming me
I thought I knew the world and now they are changing me
What am I feeling inside?
This is goodbye. He pours the pills down the toilet.
Aiden is a changed man back at school in the classroom.
He sees all the faces that have ever wronged him.
Aiden
Everybody put your hands up or it will be your head!
Aiden pulls a gun out of his back pack and begins to load it.
Girl
Stop!
Byron is behind Aiden. 
Go Aiden this is what you wanted, revenge on these people! Now they will never forget you! Make them feel the pain and agony you feel every d--- day! It is our day to seize.
Aiden trembles as he begins to pull the trigger. The Room is filled with crying and shouting.
Kaboom!
Aiden wakes up from the horrible nightmare. `
It was just a dream.
Mom! Dad! Hello!
Aiden overhears conversation between cops and parents.
Steve
Aiden was always a lonely child. The only friends he ever seemed to have were imaginary.
Mary (cries)
There were many times I would hear him talking to himself but I didn’t say anything because I felt bad, I couldn’t help son.
Cops
From what you’ve told us and shown us the drawings, the journals, Aiden is a serious threat. Aiden told us a boy named Byron was in Mrs. Finkles class. But, when we talked with Mrs. Finkle told us that no such kid even existed. I think your son may be suffering from some type of mental disorder. We must stop him before he puts himself or anyone else into danger.
Aiden shocked climbs out of his bedroom window.
He runs in the dark and rain to the tallest tower.
He arrives at the top story,

Aiden
Where are Byron, you coward!
Byron appears.
Did you miss me Aiden?
Aiden
Haven’t you ruined my life enough!
Byron
You just don’t get it do you?
Aiden
What?
Byron looks into a mirror and shows no reflection.
There is no escaping me. I am you, you are me and we’ll be together forever.
I am your deepest thoughts. You can’t run or hide from me Aiden.
Aiden hides with a knife in his hand.
Byron
Want to come out and play Aiden.
Aiden makes loud grunt when stabs Byron in the back.
Byron
Ow!
Aiden
Yes!
Byron
Just kidding, you can’t kill your imaginary friend, stupid s***.
Byron gets a hold of the Knife and stabs Aiden.
Aiden
Ahh! Oh god! How is this possible?
Byron
All the pain you’re inflicting your doing to yourself Einstein. I can’t wait to be in control of that wonderful body you’ve let go to waste. I’m going to be making some changes. I’m tired of your s---- c---. By the way were changing your name to Byron it’s so much hotter.
Aiden
There has to be way. I can’t live like this anymore. I can’t live in a world where I’m scared of myself. I can’t put all these innocent people at risk. I’m a problem. It is my time to go.
Aiden walks towards the edge of the tower to fall to his death.
Byron
You wouldn’t dare.
Aiden
Watch me, if I’m going down your coming with me.
Byron becomes powerless.
Byron
This can’t be happening!
Aiden steps off the tower (singing)
and the world will keep on turning.
