You ever wonder where winter really came from?  An old skinny man in a draped cloak with a white beard who controlled the snow.  His name was winter, and he was a bit of a prick.  He shot snow out of his long fingernails into penguins' eyes making them fall.  Winter only cares about himself, he’s never had anyone else to care about.  Winter's heart was as cold as ice.

Rumors about him have been around as long as civilization has been.  The season of winter got its name from this man.  People have claimed to see him in distant forests during the winter season.  “I could see a figure that looked to be wearing a cloak over the horizon yesterday,” one witness in a news report said.

It feels like he’s supposed to be a secret.  I can’t find information on him anywhere.  This all may sound absurd, but I’m sure that he is real.  It’s probably a dumb urban legend but something about this story has always intrigued me.  I plan on going to the south pole, his origin. I need to know if he’s still out there,  I have so many questions for him.  Is he a wizard? Does he speak english?  How old is he?

I will update everyone after my journey and I hope it won’t be a waste of time.  I hope other people are interested in this legend and might be able to help me get the information I crave.
