I've Been Dwelling In This Skin Too Long
Struggling through the thickness of the audience, she made her way to the end of the lane. She wasn't exactly aware of what everyone was gathering to observe, but decided that if it was such a common concern, she should come to witness it. She leaned over, as though she were picking up something off of the cement and stretched her neck to obtain a better view. She scanned the landscape, but saw nothing of interest. Resembling a crane, she retracted her head back into allignment with her shoulders. As she turned around, the street crowded only moment ago stared her down in desolation with only the fading sunshine to keep her company.
