Change of Scenery
I curled up in the corner, leaning against my bookcase, right behind my bedroom door - the very place I was sitting when we had that late night conversation about ice cream and you told me how you felt - and just sat there crying. There was just something about being there again, same as that night, that had a twinge of security in it. Sitting there I found myself wishing that we could go back about 5 months and I could be sitting there with a smile on my face, rather than with those tears stinging my burdened eyes.
