He's Gone
Its three o'clock in the afternoon. I stand at corner of the street watching the cars drive by. Where is he? I wonder. He's never forgotten me before. Buildings stand out in front of me of every kind, tall and short, people are pushing and shoving by. I look straight up into the cloudy sky letting the rain fall on my face and run down my neck. It feels so relaxing the cool trickle of the water. But I still wonder where could he be, my one and only other half. The one who makes me laugh when I'm sad, who helps me through all my problems, who wraps me up in my arms when I need to be comforted. My true love. Its our anniversary he is supposed to pick me up after work. Where could he be? Just then my phone rings, its my husbands sister. I answer, Hello. He's gone she gasps, in a car accident, he's gone.
