He whispers sweet nothings into her ear and tells her what she wants to hear.

Although he does this he never owns up to his word.

The sunsets at seven pm and she sits at the door waiting for his to return home from work when he got off at 2:30.

Day after day she awaits on him to come through the door without questioning him.

Until finally she reaches her breaking point.

“Where were you?” she asks repeatedly.

“Doing something nice for you.” he replies.

She responded with a solemn okay and went on with her business.

Midnight came around and he left once more.

She woke up after the door slammed.

Rising up out of her bed and running to the front door she opened it to him.

Waiting for her momentarily right by the door her stood.

Get dressed he told her and pack your bag and don’t forget your passport.

Without hesitation she did what she was told.

They arrived at the airport and he handled their bags and tickets.

“Are you ready,” he asked.

They boarded the plane and prepared themselves for the long 12 hour flight.

The captain came on over the speaker and introduce himself.

He told passengers they had a long flight ahead of them.

When the plane took off she laid her head of his shoulder and dozed off.

A few hours later she woke up and looked out the window.

She saw nothing but clouds and had a million thoughts going through her head.

A few more hours went by and they were preparing to land.

They landed in Venice, Italy.

Which was where she had been wanting to go her whole life.

The got off the plane and went straight to the nearest restaurant.

While at dinner, he told her to dress nice because they had a day ahead of the tomorrow.

After dinner the headed back to the hotel.

They prepared for bed and went to sleep.

She woke up to the scent of breakfast he had prepared for her.

He told her they had plans at 7 o’clock.

They arrived at the dock and he rented a fancy boat.

Musicians played their instrument while he admired her dark brown wavy hair blowing in the wind.

He said to her, “You mean everything to me and I couldn’t ask for a better woman. I love You.”

After that they held each other for a long time while the floated of into the lake and as the music faded the watch the sunset together.
